With our demo range, you can swap your skis as much as you like throughout your rental period within the following categories

Carve skis –70% groomed 30% powder
Carve skis are best for those when the snow isn’t falling and the groomers have been out laying down perfect corduroy. Carve skis are best for learners or those who wish to crank some nice turns on piste. They have more sidecut then the mid fat and fat skis to ensure smaller turn radius on the hard pack and can be skied shorter for ease of use.

Mid fat skis – 50% powder 50% groomed
Mid Fat skis are perfect for all mountain skiing, they will carve well on the groomed runs and still run well through the deep snow.  For those that like to get the fresh powder runs in the morning and then do some carving on piste in the afternoon then the mid fat is the weapon of choice. The midfats are wider underfoot than the carve ski but still have a nice sidecut to get you all over the mountain in whatever conditions.

Fat skis – 70% powder 30% groomed
Fat skis are the tool of choice when Niseko puts on it’s finest, Because they are wide and long, this means you can ski fast in the deepest powder Japan has to offer. Most fat skis now come with reverse or rocker camber, which helps you even more to keep the tips out of the snow and get you through the flatter sections at the bottom of the powder run with out getting bogged down. Fat skis are designed so you can get through the powder with ease.

Within  the demo range are ladies specific skis which cater for all abilities of female skiers.  The lady specific skis are designed a bit softer and lighter and are also mounted in a different position on the ski to cater for the female body type. If you are unsure of which ski is suitable for you our expert staff will chat to you and  to find out which ski is best for  your level of skiing and Niseko conditions.
